Warzone Pacific: The planes would have undergone a buff

It was last December that Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific welcomed a new means of transport but also to kill enemies: war planes. The latter were extremely singled out during the publication of season 1 since they had the ability to lock enemies that were not only on the ground, but also those that were in the air.

Although this problem was quickly corrected, it seems that today they have another advantage, that of being able to finish off the players.

Warzone Pacific planes would have benefited from a buff

If the planes are only available in Vanguard Royale mode, they are still quite appreciated by the community of Warzone Pacific, and for good reason. They have the ability to mark enemies, for the whole team, but also to kill those nearby.

If these advantages are clearly not negligible, Raven Software seems to have gone even further with the deployment of its update on January 20th. Since its publication, players have indeed realized that planes can now permanently kill players who are already on the ground.

In any case, this is what the pro player of Warzone noticed IceManIsaac, who is also an Air Force pilot in real life, when he wanted to shoot an enemy on the ground. To his amazement, he was able to finish off the opponent with his plane, which apparently locked the player.

This change is quite surprising since in the Patch Note of the January 20th update, no line mentions this change which affects the planes and which at the same time gives them once again a significant power.

With this change, it would not be surprising to see in the coming days games played entirely with planes, but it remains to be seen all the same if it is really a modification wanted by the studio, or if this is yet another bug.

Good news for Call of Duty Vanguard players, the Akimbo Double Barrel Shotgun meta is finally history as Sledgehammer Games has patched it.
