Warzone: This neglected assault rifle already outperforms the STG44

A Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific expert discovered that a Dropped Assault Rifle now has better TTK than the STG44 in Season 3 Reloaded.

On June 2, Warzone received a new patch bringing changes to throwing knives, the Express Delivery perk, and the STG44. This latest Assault Rifle dominated the meta for very long weeks and the devs finally decided to nerf it while buffing another Vanguard Assault Rifle that most players had already overlooked.

The NZ-41 hasn’t been in the meta since Season 3 but with these latest changes, a Warzone expert believes the weapon has become a priority choice in your custom classes.

The NZ-41 is a formidable assault rifle at long range.

In Warzone Pacific Season 3, some players only had eyes for the STG44 in the assault rifle category. Few weapons in its class could compete, except perhaps the BAR in certain circumstances. But after this recent patch, things are really going to change.

As a reminder, here are the buffs received by the NZ-41:

  • Minimum damage increased from 32 to 34
  • Decreased recoil deflection
  • Recoil Intensity Decreased

Prior to this patch, the NZ-41’s recoil was a real issue on this weapon which was very difficult to control. But as we can see in the latest video from TrueGameData, this is no longer the case.

Now the NZ-41 will kill your opponents faster than the STG44 and this is important data to have in your hands. If you’ve been a fan of the STG for the past few weeks, you’ll probably have to adapt your classes by changing your weapon of choice because the domination of the latter seems to be over on Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, at least for the moment.
