Warzone’s NZ-41 gets “ridiculed” by this class

Despite recent nerfs, the NZ-41 remains one of Season 4’s best weapons. However, FaZe Booya has revealed that a fan-favorite Cold War AR is just as menacing on Rebirth Island.

Warzone players have a lot to think about when it comes to Season 4’s Assault Rifle meta. With Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Good Fortune being part of the map rotation, choosing the best weapons to use often depends on your environment.

When it comes to Rebirth Island and Good Fortune, FaZe Booya believes that weapons that excel at mid-range can potentially outperform the game’s most dominant long-range weapons.

The XM4 is a very popular weapon among Warzone players.

Warzone’s July 7 update brought about the third nerf to the NZ-41 after the weapon was deemed overpowered. Unfortunately, it remains one of the best long-range options in the game, but nerfs have allowed other weapons to fill the gap slightly.

One such weapon is the classic XM4 Assault Rifle from Cold War which is well loved by many. FaZe Booya claims that for mid-range encounters on Rebirth Island, the XM4 can compete with the famous NZ-41.

Faze Booya’s class from XM4 for Rebirth Island

  • Stuffy : Silent Agency
  • cannon : Expeditionary Force 13.5″
  • Glasses : Axial Arms x3
  • Cannon accessory : Field Agent Handle
  • Ammunition : 45 round magazine

While the NZ-41 remains noticeably superior on a map like Caldera where its accuracy can shine, Booya explains that’s not always the case: “I know they nerfed the XM4 a lot, but it’s really great on Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep, those medium range cards.”

Booya’s XM4 attachments are pretty standard when it comes to Warzone Assault Rifles, as the focus is on maximizing accuracy, recoil control, and range.
