Although Riot Shield has been around since the beginning of Warzone, one player found a creative way to abuse it on Rebirth Island.
The Riot Shield has often been called the most toxic weapon in Warzone history. Although it lacks the destructive power of other weapons, if used correctly it can absolutely torment enemy players.
In the hands of an expert, there are few strategies to take on a Riot Shield in 1vs1 and emerge victorious. This is especially true on Warzone’s small Rebirth Island map.
The battle shield made its appearance with Vanguard.

While the Riot Shield may not be the best tool to use in Trios or Quads, it is absolutely devastating in Solos where enemy players must take it on alone. You might be surprised to find that the Shield has a shocking K/D of 1.13, which is just outside the top 10 in Warzone.
A montage posted to the Warzone subreddit by LordTexugo shows the true potential of the Riot Shield, or in this case, the Battle Shield. It might not be the most aesthetically pleasing gameplay, but seeing its poor victims tormented is nonetheless hilarious.
The key to creating this masterful build is the combination of Express Delivery, Gas Grenades, Frag Grenades, and Riot Shield. When these three elements come together, the player is able to kill his baffled opponents one after another.
The video is humorous as the player repeatedly uses the riot shield and grenades to trap enemies and force them into adverse scenarios where they are completely helpless.
The player’s skill with the Frag Grenades is just as impressive as their skill with the Riot Shield.
