Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new connected watch. This Xiaomi Watch S1 Active would take over the functions of the Watch S1, but with a more adventurous design.

Last December, on the occasion of the launch in China of the new Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer also unveiled a slew of connected devices. This was the case with a new smartwatch with an elegant design, the Xiaomi Watch S1.
While the watch has not yet been officially launched on the French market, it seems that the manufacturer is already looking to make it available in a new version. The 91mobiles site has indeed obtained marketing renderings of a new version of the Xiaomi Watch S1 provided by the leaker Ishan Agarwal.
According to information from the Indian leaker, this new connected watch would be called Xiaomi Watch S1 Active. It would be, as its name suggests, a connected watch intended above all to be more durable, more autonomous, and more suitable for trekking or hiking. The watch would thus offer a slightly more aggressive design than the classic version, with a graduated metal bezel around the screen and a silicone strap, more suitable for sports use than the leather strap of the Xiaomi Watch S1. On the edge of the watch, Xiaomi seems to have positioned two buttons for navigating through its interface or triggering training monitoring on the fly. On the renderings, we can also discover the mentions “Home” (reception), “Sport”, “Outdoor” (exterior) and “Active” (training).
Features close to the Xiaomi Watch S1
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active should be offered in three colors when it is released: white, blue or black. We still do not know the technical characteristics apart from its round screen. It should nevertheless be based on the characteristics of the original Xiaomi Watch S1. It had a 1.43-inch diameter AMOLED screen with a definition of 466 x 466 pixels and a 470 mAh battery.
According to information from 91mobiles, this new Xiaomi Watch S1 Active should be launched in commerce on the occasion of the global launch of the Xiaomi 12 range. According to information from the PriceBaba site, this launch would be expected in a little more than one week, March 15. The Indian site also revealed the expected prices in euros of the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro which should be higher than those of the Samsung Galaxy S22.
