For several months, rumors have been growing around a new connected bracelet designed by Samsung, the Galaxy Fit 3. Already at the end of last year, we were able to discover the first visuals, certification for the American market and even the schedule to put Samsung connected products on sale for 2024. Now, it is the turn of the Korean manufacturer itself to reveal – apparently by mistake – certain visuals of its future activity tracker.

As reported by the sites Samsung Community And Gadgets and Wearables, the Samsung website in the United Arab Emirates has in fact published before the time the page presenting the different visuals and functionalities which will be embedded in the connected bracelet Galaxy Fit 3. Enough to already know everything about this activity tracker . In addition to the visuals, which present a fairly classic tracker, but with a large 1.6-inch rectangular screen with interchangeable bracelet, this leak above all allows us to know a lot about the characteristics and functionalities embedded in the Galaxy Fit 3.

Fall detection, SpO2 and adaptive brightness

The activity bracelet should thus benefit from a 1.6-inch rectangular Amoled screen displaying a definition of 256 x 402 pixels. The case itself should weigh 18.5 grams on the scale and be made of aluminum with 5 ATM certification allowing it to be kept underwater at shallow depths, for lengths in a swimming pool for example. Obviously, the Galaxy Fit 3 will offer activity and sleep tracking, but will also integrate fall detection, SpO2 monitoring and a light sensor, three functions that were absent from the Galaxy Fit 2 released a few years ago. years. Heart rate monitoring will obviously be required, but neither the electrocardiogram, nor the blood pressure nor the integrated GPS, functions reserved for Galaxy Watches.

Furthermore, in terms of functions, NFC is not offered either and it will not be possible to install third-party applications. It must be said that, unlike Samsung’s connected watches, the Galaxy Fit 3 will not feature Wear OS, but a much lighter system. Enough to allow it, in return, to operate for 13 consecutive days. The bracelet should, however, allow you to consult your notifications, control your music, find your smartphone or take a photo remotely.

For now, we still don’t know at what price and on what date the Galaxy Fit 3 will be launched. Everything suggests that the connected bracelet should now be officially presented in the coming weeks. As a reminder, the Galaxy Fit 2 was launched in 2020 at a price of 60 euros. Remember that in addition to its bracelet, Samsung should launch new connected watches this year, the Galaxy Watch 7, but also its first connected ring, the Galaxy Ring.
