“We are going to be cut”: Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine presses a guest to launch the ad

This Wednesday March 9, 2022, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine was forced to interrupt a discussion between François Hollande and Maurice Lévy, his guests in C à vous. The reason ? The presenter was forced to launch the ad.

It is well known, the show It’s up to you is sometimes the scene of somewhat comical situations. In December 2021, a technical problem largely hampered the launch of Matthieu Belliard’s column. Same observation, during the passage of François Cluzet who, like the viewers, could not see the chronicle Seen, because of a breakdown. Situations that deeply irritate Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, the presenter, who does not hesitate to throw rants in full live.

But on this Wednesday, March 9, it was rather the timing that was awkward. Indeed, while François Hollande and Maurice Lévy talk about the latter’s new book, the presenter tries to warn them that the pub is coming : “We have 30 seconds left…” But the two guests continue their discussion, in front of an Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine who is stressing out because she knows that the pub will soon arrive: “30 seconds. We have 30 seconds left François Hollande, I wouldn’t want you to be cut off”she repeats.

Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine: “I beg your pardon, it’s advertising”

But when the former head of state stops talking, Maurice Lévy takes over. Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine then begins to make him ‘no’ of the head. “We’re going to be cut,” she warns him, before continuing: “I beg your pardon, it’s advertising”. The presenter then begins to shout on the set, in order to be heard when the advertising jingle is already launched and François Hollande and Maurice Lévy start laughing. A rather funny situation for the presenter, embarrassed to have to stop this conversation to launch the adé. Fortunately, the former head of state, still present after the publicity did not hold it against Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine.
