Guest on the show 50’Inside on TF1, this Saturday July 9, Elie Semoun came to promote his new film, Ducobuin theaters from July 13. The opportunity for the actor to return to his beginnings and the inevitable duo he formed with Dieudonné. Thus, he returned to his former friendship with the polemicist: “That’s how I was known, with Dieudo. We were a symbol of anti-racism par excellence. We came from the suburbs. Even though they walked away Elie Semoun and Dieudonné stayed in touch : “We call each other sometimes. We see each other, we saw each other not long ago. I have the feeling that he would like to come back but I have the feeling that he has still been quite far” . Despite everything, the actor is disappointed by the words that his former friend may have had: “When I think about it… I still love her. But I have the feeling of a monstrous mess. I regret that he did not remain an artist. He almost became a politician and in somewhat dark areas. And I regret it.”

For Elie Semoun, the current position of Dieudonné is very complicated to manage : “So maybe he thinks of me as a comedic functionary and someone who’s fallen into the ranks.
