“We can do anything” – clear messages on Girls’ Day in Innsbruck

There was already a lot of activity at 2 p.m. when the gates to the center opened. The spray cans were confiscated right away, the machine with which the girls and young women could conjure up stylish buttons hardly got any rest and the colorful notes on which they were asked to write how they are, filled up almost in no time at all: “We are smart, proud, creative, evil, brave, the future, hot, smart, beautiful, angry, fantastic, angry, versatile, boisterous, vulnerable. We can be anything!” There were many cool rap songs to be heard by – how could it be otherwise – female performers.
