Nothing has revealed the date of presentation of its Nothing ear (2): it will be Wednesday March 22 at 4 p.m., Paris time. The brand promises better sound and clarity on its future wireless headphones.
Two years ago, Nothing landed for the first time on the tech market with the ear (1), an excellent pair of wireless headphones, offering good value for money. The following year, we were able to discover the Nothing ear (Stick), which improved comfort and offered a case in a different format.
The Nothing ear (2) will be presented in a few days
Nothing announced this Monday the date of presentation of the Nothing ear (2): it will be this Wednesday, March 22 at 4 p.m. (French time). In its press release, the brand specifies that these headphones ” will take over the famous transparent design of Nothing. Featuring top-of-the-line engineering and extensive customization options, they promise a premium sound experience. She also invites her community to register for the launch event and makes a promise: “ Better sound. Better clarity. Simply better. »
To inform about its upcoming conference, the manufacturer used the image of a beetle. An evolution of the ladybug used for ears (1) two years ago. Regarding what the Nothing ear (2) will be, a leak had revealed visuals of the product a few weeks ago. What we can see is that if there are differences with the previous model, they are discreet.
The case would be squarer and its hinge wider. Regarding the headphones themselves, the location of the microphone would be changed. Also, active noise reduction could be improved, with more customization and the arrival of a transparent mode. Finally, multipoint Bluetooth could be part of it, just like the equalizer in the application.
The other surprise of the Nothing conference
However, the Nothing conference could hold another surprise for us, although the chances of that happening are lower. Indeed, other leaks have been of a Bluetooth Nothing speaker. For the moment, we do not know much about this potential new product of the brand. During the MWC 2023 which took place a few days ago, the founder of Nothing Carl Pei had promised the imminent arrival of a new product.
An image of the design was posted by 91Mobiles : we see circular buttons, a plexiglass handle, but also loudspeakers. It could be two tweeters and two transducers. There would also be pads under the object to put it down. We have no idea of the price positioning of this mysterious portable Bluetooth speaker.
