It’s a show that real estate enthusiasts, but also those who like to dream, don’t miss: since September 24, 2020, the day of its launch, The Agency is broadcast regularly on TMC. Also available on Netflix, this series follows the adventures of the Kretz family, specializing in the sale of luxury real estate. All of them were able, during their lives, to live incredible experiences, meeting personalities like Yannick Noahor even manage the sale of the Hallyday house. As explained, however, in the biography to be published on March 27, 2024 and entitled Welcome to the Agency, everything is not always rosy in the Kretz’s life. Throughout the chapters, the reader sees the different members of the family each explaining a part of their story.

A “conflictual” relationship between Martin and Olivier Kretz

And after Valentin Kretz, who spoke of his romantic relationship with Charina Sarte, not necessarily very popular with his parents, it was the eldest, Martin, who took up his pen to confide. The opportunity for him to say more about the relationship he has with his family. If her mother, Sandrine, says to herself “mother hen”his father, Olivier, is much tougher on a daily basis. Although “much cooler” today, in the words of his son, he has often been the cause of big arguments. “The two of us have always had a conflicting relationship. Perhaps because of my position as the eldest of the siblings”, explains Martin in the book, before specifying: “The climax was the purchase of the house in Boulogne. With my mother, we were more than motivated.”

A perpetual “battle of generations”

At the time, the young man had to face the anger of his father Olivier, due, among other things, to notary fees. “Not only was Dad not on the same wavelength, but it was to me that he explicitly expressed his opposition. Even though we had just tried to demonstrate to him, with Mom, that this house was for We, he caught me between four eyes to say to me: ‘You talk to me again about this house, I’m divorcing!’ I am 18 years old”, can we read in one of the chapters. A little later in the book, the real estate agent also writes: “I work hard, I love what I do, and I’m full of ideas that I submit to Pap. (…) But convincing Pap is not easy and we argue a lot.” And to conclude, during a passage: “I’m not giving up, neither is he. Battles of generations. He loses his temper quickly, and I even more so.” Impressive family conflicts, which viewers may see while watching the show.
