The affair of little Grégory never resolved

As a reminder, little Grégory Villemin, only 4 years old, was found dead on October 19, 1984. His lifeless body was found tied up in Vologne, in Lépanges-sur-Vologne, in the Vosges. A murder which was accompanied by numerous letters sent to Grégory’s parents, from a crow. Murielle Bolle, a family member, confessed while in police custody that his brother-in-law Bernard Laroche killed the 4-year-old child and that she was present at the time of the kidnapping and murder.

But instead of questioning Bernard Laroche, Judge Lambert preferred to go away for the weekend. As a result, Murielle Bolle retracted her statements. But not enough to convince Jean-Marie Villemin, Grégory’s father who shot him in March 1985. Bernard Laroche then died, taking his secrets to the grave. And after many twists and turns, the mystery of this affair was ultimately never elucidated. But for François Daoust, the matter has been clarified for a long time.

Surprising statements

“Off the record, we know what happened. Officially, we can’t say it. We can’t report it, otherwise we risk being sued for defamation. But there was everything”, declared François Daoust. Before specifying that a “procedural error”, prevents the indictment of the culprit.

“The truth is that there were analyses, interrogations which were good and which gave us the answer. But as this was canceled for a procedural error, we can no longer work on these seals and we can no longer re-examine in the same conditions one of the protagonists who had given all the elements and the temporality: ‘It happened like this, at such a time, in such a place…'”, he explains. Statements that risk causing a reaction.
