In the midst of identity tensions and security issues setting the tone for this beginning of the presidential campaign, children are struggling for the time being to make their way. The CEP Enfance action committee, bringing together around a hundred organizations working in all areas of childhood, is organizing a forum this Saturday in Paris to push ten emergency measures with candidates. Six representatives of the latter answered present (PS, PC, LFI, LREM, LR and EE-LV). Pierre Suesser, pediatrician in maternal and child protection (PMI) and member of this committee, discusses the priorities of this meeting, as a continuation of the work Childhood, the state of emergency. Would having a full-fledged ministry make it possible to build a real childhood policy?
This is one of the first ideas that we put forward: having a full-fledged ministry that would be the conductor of this policy, which is far too fragmented today.
