Six months after a first shock campaign, the Youth with Macron today launched a poster to push the candidacy of the president. Starting tomorrow, 25,000 posters will be put up everywhere in France. We can see the head of Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by the words: “We really want you.”

A somewhat suggestive poster. Starting tomorrow, 25,000 posters in support of the president will be posted all over France by the Young with Macron, the JAM. Very invested in the campaign of the current tenant of the Élysée, who is officially still not a candidate for re-election, they launched a new poster this Friday. We see part of Emmanuel Macron’s face, and these words: “We really want you!”

And it’s intentional on the part of the JAMs, as they explain to the HuffPost
: “The poster is the oldest and most conventional medium in politics. The idea is to modernize the genre and attract attention.” A source within Young with Macron also details that there are “several levels of reading” in this new poster. “It means both that we really want him to show up, that we really want to go into the countryside and that we really want to go and convince the French,” he says, always to our colleagues.

A shocking first campaign

The Young people with Macron are not at their first attempt in terms of communication. Already in September, their campaign had hit the mark. They then took over the codes of the streaming giant Netflix, writing: “Can’t wait for us to sign for 5 more seasons.”
