Beauty is our business – and we love it. Of course, our BRIGITTE editors also have a number of beauty products that have had a firm place in the morning routine for years. Nevertheless, we are always open to new things, especially when it comes to new beauty products. And there were quite a few of those in August. The editor Linda, Melanie, Ilka, Jessica and Stella took a very close look at five of those who ended up on the editorial desk.

Product: Create Your Balance Relaxing Touch Hair & Body Mist by Kiko
Price: 13 euros
Promise: Give body and hair a boost of freshness with a single product.
Effect: Wow! I’m really sensitive to scents, but this hair and body spay smells so natural I can’t get enough of it. Because that captures exactly the smell that flows through my nose when I enter a spa: I immediately feel transported there. It must be the lavender essential oil that is giving me this effect.
This is why the product convinced me: Regular perfumes contain a lot of alcohol, which dries out your skin and hair. That’s why I usually only spray fragrances on clothes. However, this one is water-based and enriched with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. So it’s more than this incredibly relaxing spa scent in the nose – the spray also has a nurturing component! Really awesome to get away from it all for a moment.

Product: Hydro Boost Aqua Fluid LS by Neutrogena
Price: about 10 euros
Promise: Day care with a sun protection factor that is not greasy is a rare combination. But that’s exactly what this light fluid from Neutrogena promises. The fluid with vitamin C provides the skin with moisture and protects against environmental influences.
Effect: Even the texture keeps what it promises. The fluid is easy to dose. Due to the liquid consistency, the application is child’s play. The Hydro Boost is already absorbed after a few minutes and make-up can be applied without any problems. The wearing comfort is pleasant. Towards the end of the day, the skin becomes greasy, but that’s normal for me with creams with SPF. The sun protection factor is a bit too low for me in the summer, so I prefer 50+, but for the winter time it’s a great addition to my skincare products.
This is why the product convinced me: Day creams with sun protection quickly cause blemishes on my skin because they are simply too rich. I tolerated the Hydro Boost Aqua Fluid well and it is therefore a great addition to my beauty routine.

This is why the product convinced me: My skin looks visibly plumper and my connective tissue firmer. My pimple marks heal faster and my complexion looks a lot rosier; my hair also feels stronger. I will definitely continue to use the capsules.

Effect: Drove over the eyelashes with a few strokes, done! The finish of the mascara is deep black, leaving a natural frame that brings out the individual eye color even better. The mascara also has tubing technology. Means: With a little warm water you can remove the mascara as if by magic.
This is why the product convinced me: Removing makeup in the evening has never been so easy. The mascara practically dissolves by itself after coming into contact with the lukewarm water. Just wipe it over with your fingers and you’re done! In addition, the eyelashes appear fanned out after application. What more could you want?

Body oils are often too greasy for me and I feel sweaty and heavy after applying them. With the NUXE drying oil, on the other hand, this feeling was not noticeable. On the contrary, the pleasant smell gave me a little spa moment after a long day.
