Weather: 15 departments placed on orange storm vigilance

Ihe situation is again very stormy on Monday afternoon. Fifteen departments on a Poitou-Charentes-Champagne axis have been put on orange alert. Storms are currently rising over the country from the South-West to the North-East. Locally strong thunderstorms will sometimes be accompanied by hail and strong gusts.

On the Mediterranean rim and Corsica, the weather will remain dry with beautiful sunny periods. Elsewhere, the sky will be changing with less heavy showers than the day before. A thunderclap will however be possible locally. The autan wind will be noticeable in the Toulouse South, as well as the southerly wind in the Rhône valley.

Minimums between 12 and 18 degrees

As for temperatures, the minimums will go from 12 to 18 degrees in general, up to 19 to 22 degrees in the South-East and in Corsica. In the afternoon, the maximum will reach 21 to 24 degrees in the northwest quarter of the country, 25 to 30 elsewhere, up to 31 to 33 degrees in the Rhône valley, in Franche-Comté, in Alsace and in Corsica. .
