Meteo-France announces the presence of fog banks on the morning of Sunday February 5 in a northwest quarter and in the valleys of the Center-East. We will also find low clouds over the Southwest. Light rain will fall near the Channel coasts. They will concern the North-East for the rest of the day where a little snow will fall from 800 meters, and a little lower in the evening.

Beautiful clearings will nevertheless manage to develop from Brittany to the Center and to the Belgian border. From the south-west to the center-east of the country, the clouds will be more numerous and will give a few drops locally, even a few flakes towards the Alps. Around the Mediterranean, the sun will dominate from Languedoc-Roussillon to the west of Provence. Mistral and tramontane will still blow hard, with gusts reaching 90/100 km/h.

Minimum between –1 and 2

On the other hand, the weather will deteriorate further east with clouds which will invade the sky over the hours over Corsica and the Côte d’Azur, pushed by a very sensitive east wind. Rain will be expected in the early evening.

The minimums will be between – 1 and 2 degrees from Alsace to the Massif Central, 1 to 6 degrees in general over the country, up to 5 to 10 degrees on the shores of the Mediterranean. Highs will reach 5 to 8 degrees over a northeast quarter, 8 to 14 degrees elsewhere.READ ALSO Corsica: lack of snow, ski resorts are looking for their way
