Lhe weather on Tuesday August 30 will be marked by stormy showers which will move north and east, according to Météo-France forecasts. Chaotic weather, accompanied by showers and sometimes thunderstorms, will extend in the morning from the north-west quarter to the center and from Auvergne to the Rhône valley and Provence. A bright, mostly cloudy sky will temporarily hold from north of the Seine to the northeast. Calmer and sunny weather will return to the plains of the South-West and then to the entire Atlantic coast.
During the day, the instability will shift to the eastern regions. Stormy showers will multiply over Burgundy-Franche-Comté, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes to Haut Languedoc and the Paca region. Activity will be strong locally, particularly in the south-east and more particularly in the Alpes-Maritimes. On the Great East, the stormy showers will start a little later in the afternoon. To the west, the improvement will spread from Brittany and Cotentin to the Pyrenees and as far as Roussillon.
As for temperatures, the minimums will range from 12 to 16 degrees in Normandy and Hauts-de-France in the northeast quarter, from 15 to 20 degrees elsewhere, up to 21 to 23 near the Mediterranean. In the afternoon, it will be 22 to 26 degrees near the English Channel, 31 to 35 in Aquitaine, Occitania and from the middle Rhone valley to the Var hinterland. It will be necessary to wait from 27 to 31 degrees in general on the rest of the country.
