Ihe return of sunny days still seems far away. The weather will be disturbed again on Monday. The weather will be stormy from the southwest to the northeast at the end of the afternoon, according to Météo-France. From Brittany and Pays de Loire to Hauts-de-France, from the morning the southwest wind will be quite strong, with gusts of up to 60 to 80 km/h inland, 70 to 90 km/h. h near the ribs. The initially overcast and lightly rainy weather will give way in the morning to a more variable sky with showers. More frequent showers on the Breton peninsula, the Cotentin and the edges of the English Channel will sometimes be accompanied by thunderstorms in the afternoon. In the evening, the wind will strengthen again over Brittany and the Cotentin.

Further south, on Languedoc-Roussillon as well as the coast of Paca and Corsica, low clouds will settle, carried by a south to south-east wind which will strengthen over the hours from the coasts of Provence to the Rhône Valley with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h. Elsewhere, the morning will be rather calm and mild overall. Note the southerly wind which will increase to 70 to 90 km/h on the Pyrenean chain.

Minimums still very fresh, especially in Provence

In the afternoon, from New Aquitaine to the west of Occitania and as far as Burgundy and the North-East, cloudy and heavy weather will become widespread, thunderstorms will become frequent with more marked activity in the Franche-Comte to Alsace. The south-westerly wind will refresh with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h as this stormy band passes, which will shift from the plains of Languedoc to the eastern borders at the end of the evening, giving a few snowflakes to the Alps and the Pyrenees above 1,600 m.

Minimum temperatures will range from 8 to 12°C in general. They will remain a little cooler from the Massif Central in the interior of Provence with 3 to 7°C. On the maximum side, they will still be on the rise with 13 to 16 degrees in a northwest quarter, they will reach 16 to 21 degrees elsewhere, up to 22 in the Alsace plain and up to 23 to 25 degrees in the South- West.
