“Wendehammer”: Miniseries tells about friendships and a corpse in the lake
“Wendehammer” is the name of the new ZDF mini-series, which will start on German television on Thursday, May 12, 2022. It tells the story of the four friends Meike (Meike Droste, 42, known from “Murder with a View”), Franzi (Susan Hoecke, 40), Nadine (Friederike Linke, 41) and Samira (Elmira Rafizadeh, 41) – a group of Suburban women who share a dark secret that is slowly but surely coming to the surface of the community lake. The team of four is complimented by Julie (Alice Dwyer, 34), who has just moved in, who is looking for a connection and finds him with the four friends.
The premise of “Wendehammer” is very reminiscent of the American series “Desperate Housewives”, which was also about a murder in a small suburb. Although the mystery of the corpse in the lake is the background of the series, the ZDF production is more about the lives of very different women, actress Dwyer tells in an interview with RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland. “It’s about friendship and whether you choose it. And how caught up you are in your life or in your normality.” The six-part series is always broadcast on ZDF on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. and starts with a double episode.

“Red Roses”: Markus Graf is back as Nicos Saravakos
“Rote Rosen” fans are enthusiastic on Instagram, because a favorite will soon be seen again in the telenovela: Nicos Saravakos, played by Markus Graf, 69, returns after a break of a few years. The official Instagram account of the series confirmed this with a post that said: “Papa Saravakos is back and will certainly bring one or the other exciting or ill-considered idea to Lüneburg.”
Although the exact date of his return is not yet known, the fans make their joy very clear in the comment column. “Eeeeeeendlich … Nico’s back in Lüneburg. “Red Roses”: Actress from “Lindenstraße” will be in the next season
In the new 20th season, “Rote Rosen” will include an actress that many fans already know from another popular series: Sarah Masuch, 44, who played the role of Dr. Iris Brooks played. For the next “Red Roses” season, Masuch will play the entrepreneur Anette Roth. She is scheduled to make her telenovela debut on Tuesday, May 31.
The fans on Instagram are already looking forward to the newcomer. Some are a little skeptical because of their role at the time, like this user: “I’m curious.
