Wesh lunches, Cityscoot lowers the price of its electric scooters!

To attract people under 25 to its service, Cityscoot is experimenting with a special pack called “CitYoung”. In Paris, the company is also lowering its pricing per minute.

Can a service like Cityscoot be popular with younger people? Much more expensive than public transport or shared bicycles/scooters, Cityscoot no doubt thinks that it has a card to play to expand its market share. For a limited time, it is launching two initiatives aimed at offering interesting promotions to users between the ages of 18 and 25.

Cityscoot is the S

In an email sent to some of its users, Cityscoot announces the launch of the CitYoung pack. For 12 euros, it allows you to buy a 50-minute balance that can be used with one or more scooters (it is valid for 1 year). Cityscoot says that its offer is available until the last day of its users’ 25th birthday… but indicates later in the email that we only have a few days to take advantage of it. We imagine that there is still an experimental side to all of this but, in the long term, this young offer could become permanent.

Another change, 18-25 year olds who do not want to buy a pack and intend to use Cityscoot on the meter will pay until June 22 33 euro cents per minute, against 39 cents previously. On a 30-minute race, we go from 11.70 euros to 9.90 euros. Cityscoot is still expensive, but a little less so.

As a reminder, Cityscoot is a self-service scooter service. Present in Paris, Nice and Bordeaux, it allows you to rent an electric scooter for a few minutes and leave it in the street. Some scooters offer two helmets, which will allow young people, according to the Cityscoot press release, “to accompany their roommate, BFF or Tinder date of the day”.
