There are two post-credits scenes at the end of Quantumania. They prepare the rest of phase 5. But beware, spoilers!
In theaters this February 15, 2023, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicks off Marvel Phase 5 (not necessarily brilliantly). Although the character has already made a few appearances, notably in Loki, it is in this feature film that Kang is truly integrated. This big bad guy is going to be the leitmotif of this whole phase (Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is planned for 2025 and Avengers: Secret Wars for 2026).
Quantumania therefore escapes the rule even less: prepare to stay until the end, even after the complete credits, because the film contains two post-credits scenes. And they clearly set the stage for the sequel, so if you’re interested in the principle of continuity, we suggest you see them!

First post-credits scene: Kang
The first post-credits scene is the most decisive: we face several versions of Kang, all played by actor Jonathan Majors, because it is the same character from a multitude of parallel worlds. We then understand that they are determined to avenge the Kang, defeated by Ant-Man.
But the second part of the scene is more interesting: we see millions of Kang gathered in… an arena. This is a direct reference to the comics Secret Wars. In this series published by Marvel in 1984-85, heroes and heroines from several parallel worlds are projected onto an arena planet called Battleworld, where they are asked to fight.
In 2015, Marvel editions offered an alternative version of the Battleworld planet, which this time was the fusion of several cohabiting worlds. The cinematographic saga is inspired by all this, in its own way. So we have some elements, but we don’t know exactly what this arena will be used for.
Second post-credits scene: Loki
The second post-credits scene shows us Loki and Mobius facing off against a version of Kang. Loki recalls that he knows full well who it is — and he’s clearly terrified. However, it takes a lot to scare Loki, he who always has so much confidence. This sequence suggests that season 2 of the series devoted to the character of Tom Hiddleston, scheduled for 2023, will undoubtedly have Kang as its central issue.
