As every year, the back-to-school period (the famous Back to School as the Anglo-Saxons say) is a privileged time for shopping. It is in this spirit that HONOR has just launched its back-to-school offers on part of its catalog. To be precise, the manufacturer has decided to focus its efforts on its most recent models such as the HONOR Magic 5 (Pro or Lite), the HONOR 90 (classic or Lite) and the X7a. On the program of festivities, immediate reductions to lower the price of these devices, but also gifts, between vouchers, headphones or protective shells.

A regular at entry-level or mid-range smartphones (that’s not a dirty word), HONOR made its first foray into the very high end this year with its Magic5 Pro. A good device in all respects, which received a nice 9/10 in the test carried out by Frandroid.
Behind a worked aesthetic, HONOR has hidden a real beast of competition whose technical sheet is based on the excellent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, here supplemented by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage. Add to that a compatible 5100 mAh battery with 66W fast charging (50W wireless), you get a machine that can handle any task you throw at it without flinching.
The display, for its part, is provided by a 6.81-inch OLED LTPO panel for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Enough to ensure a precise, bright and above all, fluid display. A trio of 50 megapixel photo sensors (wide angle, ultra wide angle and periscope telephoto) adorn the rear panel for a very satisfying photo experience.
For the start of the school year, HONOR offers you to lower the price of the Magic5 Pro by 200 euros thanks to a reduction coupon that you will obtain with the code A5P200. What to get it at 999.90 euros. To top it off, you’ll also get a pair of Earbuds 3 Pro headphones (worth 199.90 euros) and a protective case for free after placing in the basket.
If you are looking for a more modest smartphone, you can always take a look at the HONOR Magic5 Lite. With a design that broadly echoes that of the Pro model and an absolutely sumptuous screen for a smartphone offered below 400 euros, it has serious arguments in its favour. He currently benefits from a reduction of 80 euros which allows him to go below the 300 euro mark.
HONOR 90: a solid mid-range
At first glance, the HONOR 90 stands out thanks to its design. All in curves and roundness thanks to a curved screen on its four sides, it flatters the retina and is particularly pleasant to use. The double photo block located on its back is also particularly aesthetic, and allows it to rank among the most beautiful smartphones in its category, as Frandroid pointed out during its test.
On the technical sheet side, not much to complain about either. HONOR opted for a proven SoC, the Snapdragon 7 Gen1, and added a whopping 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for good measure. A solid setup, able to overcome most tasks, including gaming, without suffering. A 6.7-inch 120 Hz OLED panel completes the set for a bright and fluid display.
For the photo part, the HONOR 90 can count on a 200 megapixel main sensor, here accompanied by a 12 megapixel macro sensor and 2 megapixel depth of field sensor. A solid photo block, with overall satisfactory performance.
For its back-to-school offer on the HONOR 90, the manufacturer has decided to go all out. In addition to an immediate reduction that lowers its price from 599.90 euros to 499.90 euros, HONOR has decided to offer you two gifts: a pair of Earbuds X5 headphones and an HONOR Band 7 connected bracelet. Six months of insurance are also offered to complete this rather well stocked offer.
The HONOR 90 is available from SFR from 1 euro thanks to a trade-in bonus and subscription to the 210 GB package offered by the operator. It is also offered at 499 euros instead of 599 euros if you decide to acquire it with a non-binding package.
A Lite version of the HONOR 90, more affordable at the price of a few concessions (90 Hz screen, SoC Dimensity 6020, 8 GB of RAM, 100 megapixel main sensor) is also available at a reduced price for this back to school. It’s a reduction of 50 euros waiting for you to lower its price to 249.90 euros instead of 299.90 euros.
It is also available from SFR with a reduction of 100 euros which drops it to 199 euros for any purchase with a non-binding package offered by the operator.
HONOR X7a: low price and XXL storage capacity
If you’re looking for a smartphone that goes straight to the point and doesn’t force you to eat pasta for the coming months, the Honor X7a is likely to please you. This entry-level model has indeed a technical sheet that is far from leaving indifferent.
Its strengths are based on four points:
- its autonomy: with a 5330 mAh battery compatible with the HONOR SuperCharge 22.5 W, it’s a safe bet that the HONOR X7a will not let you down anytime soon;
- its storage: if it only offers 128 GB of internal storage, the HONOR X7a can accommodate Micro SD cards up to 1 TB. Enough to keep all your photos and conversations;
- its screen: equipped with a 6.745-inch FullView IPS (LCD) panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate, the HONOR X7a offers a clear and precise XXL display in all circumstances;
