Niantic posted a communicated tonight to allow players of their Pokémon GO mobile game to discover the content that will be reserved for them during the month of January.
On the program, you will find already existing raids but also the arrival of a new Mega-Raid and we invite you to discover the list of events and dates to note in your calendar for next month.
January Study Phase Rewards
Onix will be part of the rewards accompanied by energy for Mega-Steelix. Onix can also be captured in its chromatic form.
- Duration: from Saturday January 1, 2022 at 10 p.m. to Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 10 p.m.
Pokémon featured in raids
The following Pokémon will be available in 5 Star Raids. Each shift is at 10 a.m. (local time).
- Kyurem: from Saturday January 1 to Friday January 7, 2022
- Heatran: from Friday January 7, 2022 to Saturday January 15, 2022
- Genesect (Shock Module): from Saturday January 15, 2022 to Monday January 24, 2022
- Regice; from Monday January 24, 2022 to Tuesday February 1, 2022
There will also be Mega-Raids during this month of January including the premiere of Mega-Ptéra.
- Mega-Blizzaroi: from Saturday January 1 to Friday January 7, 2022
- Mega-Ptéra: from Friday January 7, 2022 to Tuesday February 1, 2022
As for the raid hours for this first month of 2022, we will have a specific raid every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Kyurem: January 5
- Heatran: January 12
- Genesect (Shock Module): January 19
- Regice: January 26
Note that Genesect (Shock Module) is the only one not available in shiny during January raids.
Featured Pokémon Hours
Featured Pokémon Time returns every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. during this month of January. You will find the following Pokémon and bonuses there.
- January 4: Nucleos with transfer candies x2
- January 11: Mole Pricker with Capture Star Dust x2
- January 18: Posipi with catch candy x2
- January 25: Negapi with transfer candy x2
Only Nucleos is not available in its chromatic form.
