What we wanted: Elyas M'Barek makes his Netflix debut in November

The love drama "What we wanted" with Elyas M'Barek and Lavinia Wilson will be available on Netflix from November 11th.

Elyas M'Barek (38) will be featured in the film "Was we wanted" from November 11th. But not in the cinema, rather the film by Austrian director Ulrike Kofler (46) will then be available to all Netflix customers. The first trailer of the drama promises a soulful love tragedy about a couple who apparently do not seem to be able to fulfill their great desire to have children.

"What we wanted" is about Alice (Lavinia Wilson, 40) and Niklas (M'Barek). Despite countless attempts, Alice just won't get pregnant. To get other thoughts, they set off to Sardinia, where they soon meet the Tyrolean couple Christl (Anna Unterberger, 35) and Romed (Lukas Spisser, 35). They have two children – a boy and a girl – but their lives are far from perfect either.

"What we wanted" is Elyas M'Barek's first Netflix film and it is also a premiere for the director – Kofler had previously only worked as an editor and has now made her first own film.
