These towns previously classified in zone B2 or C now move to zone A or B1. This zoning includes five categories (A, A bis, B1, B2 and C) and classifies the municipalities according to the imbalance between supply and demand for housing. In a study published this Tuesday, it shows the impact of the new PTZ rules for the purchase of a off-plan apartment worth 200,000 euros for a couple with 50,000 euros of income and two children.

For example, in towns in zone C like Landernau, or Uzs, currently, this household is not eligible for PTZ because it exceeds the income ceilings and the zone is not eligible for a VEFA purchase (sale in future state of completion). Because the change of zones has consequences not only on the maximum amount of the PTZ which reaches 20% of the property in zones B2 and C but 40% in zones B1 and A, but also on the maximum resource ceilings and the maximum amount of the operation taken into account.
