Well fed by advertising placements in my social media feeds and recommendations from influencers, my beauty wish list feels like it’s growing every day. That’s why I always test diligently. However, one or two hype products often turn out to be flops. I am all the more grateful for my all-time favorites, which I can always rely on. I’ll show you what they are here.

What’s in my beauty bag: Intern Lena swears by these products

Smashbox X BECCA “Halo Under Eye Brightening Corrector”

No matter how much I sleep or how healthy I eat, I can’t get rid of the dark circles under my eyes. For me it’s because the skin under my eyes is so thin that the blue veins show through. The “Halo Under Eye Brightening Corrector” from Becca in cooperation with Smashbox is my savior in the morning. Thanks to light-reflecting particles and an apricot-colored tint, it perfectly balances the blue shadows and ensures a fresh, relaxed look.

Eleven Glossy Lip Stain

I tend to be picky when it comes to lip products. I like a shiny finish, but I’m not a fan of the feel of glosses. The problem with lipsticks and balms lies in the length of time they are worn. The perfect alternative for me are lip stains. They tint the lips slightly so that when the product wears off, the look still exists. I particularly liked the Glossy Lip Stain from elf. It perfectly combines the finish of a glossy balm with the durability of a stain. On top of that, it has a super light, comfortable feel.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner

The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is my all-purpose silver bullet for any impurities on the entire body. Since I tend to have sensitive skin, I tolerate the toner better because it contains glycolic acid than many products that use salicylic acid to combat impurities. It can be used not only on the face, but also for the entire rest of the body. For example, the toner is perfect for preparing for epilation or shaving. Its exfoliating effect gently removes dead skin cells and prevents razor bumps.

Dove Body Love Summer Glow Body Lotion

Another all-in-one product that I don’t want to be without is the Dove “Body Love Summer Glow” body lotion. It has been an integral part of my beauty routine for years, especially in the winter months. Not only does it ensure that the skin is well hydrated after showering and therefore feels pleasant on the skin – it also has a self-tanning effect. In contrast to conventional self-tanners, I find it much easier to use as a body lotion. If you apply cream in the evening, you can look forward to a natural, spot-free tan on your skin in the morning. I often mix a dollop into my normal facial care routine. This way you can conjure up a little color on your face even in the dark months.

Sol de Janeiro “Brazilian Crush Cheirosa Hair and Body”-Fragrance Mist No. 40

Last but not least, a fragrance can’t be missing from my cosmetic bag. Especially now that spring is just around the corner, the heavy winter scents can move back on my shelf and something fresh is needed. The “Brazilian Crush Cheirosa Hair and Body” Fragrance Mist No. I particularly like 40 by Sol de Janeiro at the moment. With black amber plum, vanilla wood notes and crème de cassis, I am enveloped in a fruity, sweet but not intrusive scent that makes me look forward to summer. Little tip: When applied to the hair, the scent lasts particularly long!
