In the mass of WhatsApp chats to find the right one is sometimes not easy. But the messenger is apparently planning a remedy. You can now filter your chats according to certain criteria in the beta version of the Windows UWP app.
According to the blog WA Beta Info, the following options are available:
- Unread
- contacts
- non-contacts
- groups
Depending on the selected criterion, only the corresponding chats will be displayed on the start page. This reduces the search effort for a specific chat, sometimes significantly.
So far, the feature is only available in beta version 2.2216.4.0 of the UWP app for Windows. However, it is quite possible that WhatsApp will soon be testing the function in the messenger’s iOS and Android apps. But first, there are four other changes related to group chats.
WhatsApp has also introduced new emojis, but their meaning is not always clear.
