Decidedly, Meta is not idle with WhatsApp
. The American giant is currently working on new features internally, some of which can be discovered in advance through some of its various betas, such as the communities

The next would directly concern the editing of videos and photos, with the addition of new options.
New photo editing options
After the custom stickers are created, WhatsApp will offer additional features for its image and video editing tool. This is the site again WABetaInfo, known for peeling all betas of the instant messaging application , which reveals the information. Soon, beta testers will have access to two new pencil sizes for their drawings, one finer than the only existing one, and the other wider. Currently, WhatsApp only offers a feature to change the color of the pencil, but not its thickness.
What to offer more options to users who would like to draw with the raised finger on an image or a video, and especially to avoid the unsightly blocks behind which were supposed to hide messages.
Another new feature coming soon is the ability to blur an image in part or in its entirety before sending it directly from WhatsApp’s image editor. An option already present on iOS, which should therefore soon be extended to Android smartphones.
