Pinned messages then always appear at the top of a chat, directly below the contact name. They can be unpinned by both people in the chat and then disappear back into the regular chat. If you click on a fixed message, you will immediately be redirected to the place in the chat where the message was originally located. The function is primarily intended for group chats in order to temporarily make important messages visible at any time.
To pin a WhatsApp message, you have to do the following:
