Hardly a week goes by without a new feature of WhatsApp
be unveiled.

In recent months, Meta has intensified its efforts to make its instant messaging application more attractive. Soon, WhatsApp will make it easier for its users to search for conversations.

A small change for research

More news for WhatsApp. Meta tries to improve the user experience with updates and new features such as the optimization of voice messages, a new interface for voice calls or even photo editing tools. Suffice to say that the American giant is not sparing its efforts and it is still far from over. This time, the group has just rolled out a new feature for its beta testers that should make searching within a conversation easier.

As spotted by WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of the application welcomed a new “Search” button within the contact information sheet. It allows you to type a keyword more quickly to find a given piece of the conversation, without having to go through the three vertical dots placed at the top right. This is one less step for users, which should make the search process ever more intuitive, whether in private or group chats.

No deployment window has been indicated, but this new feature should arrive in the very near future.
