Marine Le Pen made her comeback on Sunday at the end of the parliamentary days of the National Rally in Agde. After a weekend of training for deputies, the leader of the flame party gave a triumphant speech, underlining the new stage opened by the election of 89 deputies.

Five months after her second round in the presidential election, Marine Le Pen made her comeback on Sunday in Cap d’Agde. As president of the National Rally (RN), for a few more weeks, she highlighted the good results of her party in the legislative elections and thus the arrival of 89 deputies to prove that her political family can exercise power.

The National Rally is seen at the Élysée

This is the objective of the National Rally, to use this large group of 89 deputies to establish its credibility. “That changes everything. The French can project themselves onto a potential government,” say the executives. Marine Le Pen has understood this well and insists that the RN is now ready to exercise the highest functions.

“By giving us the most important opposition group, the French have clearly designated us as the alternating force. When it will no longer be Emmanuel Macron, it will be us! We are aware of this responsibility which we assume seriously and with determination. I say it when the hour of power comes, we will be ready for a simple reason, we are already”, she proclaimed.

Much remains to be done to convince the French

For this activist, the RN is now credible, but much remains to be done to convince the French. “The French must manage to pass the course. Speech has been released, but the ballot paper does not pass yet.”

Marine Le Pen announced that her group would not vote for the budget or that she could go as far as the motion of censure if Emmanuel Macron wanted to force through his pension reform. As for the new slogan of the RN, it is now: “The alternation is us”.
