Terrible accident Monday morning on the B 320 bypass in Schladming (Styria): During an overtaking maneuver, two cars drove head-on into each other – three occupants were fatally injured.
The details of the accident have not yet been fully clarified. On Monday around 7 a.m., two vehicles – according to the fire brigade, a van and a small SUV, the latter still pulling a car trailer – crashed head-on into each other in the local area of Schladming, on the bypass road, as part of an overtaking maneuver. Died on the spot and Stelle, three occupants in the vehicles were seriously injured – so badly that there was no help for all three. They died at the scene of the accident. Two other occupants were taken to the hospital after receiving first aid with serious injuries. The fire brigade, together with a veterinarian, were also able to save two dogs from a vehicle. They remained unharmed and were handed over to the animal shelter in Trieben. The fire brigade was on duty with 28 men, the bypass road was closed for the duration of the clean-up work, and traffic was diverted via Schladming.
