Around 12:15 p.m., several fire brigades, the rescue service and air rescue had to be deployed. Shortly before, the 57-year-old drove his truck fully loaded with rubble to a farm in the municipality of Reith im Alpbachtal and wanted to unload there. “The truck overturned to the left and remained on the left side of the vehicle,” the police said. The locals had to be freed from the vehicle by the emergency services and flown to the clinic in Innsbruck by the “Heli4” rescue helicopter with serious injuries.
