where are their children educated?

fun, news, tips… what else?

Kate Middleton and Prince William are modern parents. So, naturally, their three darlings follow an education outside the royal paths, but all the same in prestigious establishments.

The days of homeschooling for the children of the British royal family are over. Just like their father William and their uncle Harry, prince George, princess Charlotte and prince Louis took thethe way to school, like many children. But the offspring of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not educated anywhere. According to an article by our colleagues from Mirror released in May 2021, Kate and William’s two eldest children are pupils at Thomas’s Battersea, a private school in London costing £18,195 per year and per student. A tidy sum of course, but the investment seems justified in view of the services of this prestigious establishment, like the many activities offered ranging from pottery classup to the teaching of model making via theintroduction to journalism. It should be noted that all these teachings are articulated around the transmission of essential values such as kindness, honesty, generosity or even self-confidence. Perfect for those Royal Highnesses!

The youngest of the family is not left out. In 2021, Louis, who came into the world in April 2018, made his first steps at school by joining Willcocks Nursery, a facility located right next to the family’s home in Kensington Palace and whose tuition costs amount to £3,400 per termi.e. close to 11,700 euros per year. Here too, we find a philosophy that seems to fit perfectly with the vision of education that Kate Middleton and Prince William have for their darlings: “The most important aspect of school is that the children are happy. We believe it is extremely important that children enjoy their first experience of school life and that they are prepared for what lies ahead by encouraging inquisitive minds and fostering a love of learning”, is it indicated on the Web site of the school of the young Louis.

Kate Middleton and William: at school, their children do not use their titles

How to find a place in the playground when you spent your childhood in the corridors of Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle? To facilitate integrating children Cambridge to a traditional school system and so that they do not benefit from preferential treatment, George, Charlotte and Louis are not called “prince” and “princess” when they passed the school gate, as our colleagues from the Mirror.
