Separate the president from the candidate
This question of long speaking time and on a box of strong audience offered to Emmanuel Macron, only a few months before the electoral deadlines, was dealt with Wednesday during a meeting of the council of wise men of the CSA. The latter then wrote to the two candidates who had challenged them.
They specify that the Superior council of audio-visual “will proceed to the analysis of the program in order to determine the part of the speaking time of the President of the Republic likely to be deducted under the national political debate”. This analysis is part of a larger study of political speaking times in the last quarter of 2021. Pull out the stopwatches, this is just the beginning.
