An 80-year-old died on Sunday afternoon in Feldbach in the district of Southeast Styria in an accident with a tractor. As the police also announced, the woman is likely to have gotten under the loading trailer of a tractor and suffered fatal injuries.
The accident occurred when a 62-year-old man from Southeast Styria was mowing a meadow. He was driving a tractor and loading trailer. This automatically loads the cut grass onto the trailer. For this process, the man had to drive back and forth several times. At the same time, the 80-year-old was on the meadow. The woman is likely to have gotten under the loading trailer for a previously unknown cause. The 62-year-old pulled the woman out from underneath.
Passers-by provided first aid
Two passers-by provided first aid, the Feldbach rescue team and an emergency doctor from the Christophorus 17 rescue helicopter tried to reanimate the 80-year-old. Only the death of the woman could be determined.
