At the beginning of December, Amazon unveiled the first trailer for its series fallout for Prime Video. While waiting for this adaptation of the famous video game license on the small screen, from April 12, here are some series tips of the same ilk to watch in streaming. Post-apocalypses, zombies and intense human dramas are on the program!
And if you prefer violent superheroes, head to our selection of series The Boys !
Silo
Expected for a season 2, Silo made a good impression on critics (and editorial staff) during its first slew of episodes. Based on the novels of the same name by Hugh Howey, this post-apocalyptic series following survivors in a mysterious underground bunker is certainly easy to relate to. fallout.

Chernobyl
In the miniseries genre that leaves an indelible (radioactive) trace, I asked Chernobyl. It’s certainly not post-apocalypse, but by brilliantly focusing on the most infamous nuclear accident in history, the HBO series is an essential work.
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 9.3/10
Available on Prime Video (via Warner Pass)
Sweet Tooth
Renewed by Netflix for a third and final season, Sweet Tooth takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where it is notably about a virus and mutations creating human-animal hybrids. If you like the world of falloutthere is no doubt that you should therefore be in familiar territory.
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 7.8/10
Available on Netflix
All of Us Are Dead
What would a post-apocalyptic theme be without zombies? We therefore decided to retain those from the Korean series All of Us Are Dead. We can’t wait to see where the show will take us (and take its mistreated heroes) in season 2. Still on Netflix, it’s also impossible not to recommend the most “historical” kingdom.

The 100
If its first and last seasons left a little to be desired for various reasons, The 100 did, however, offer some high-quality moments at its heart. Remember that it follows survivors who return to Earth after a nuclear apocalypse. A bit like people coming out of a shelter…
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 7.6/10
Available on Netflix
The Walking Dead (and the others)
Let’s revisit the zombies with the unavoidable evidence The Walking Dead. If you are already up to date with the parent series (well done, already), many derivative series are available (including the recent Daryl Dixon which takes place in France).
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 8.1/10
Available on Netflix (or Paramount+ for Daryl Dixon)
Station Eleven
Worn by the formidable Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire), Station Eleven only lasts one season. The plot takes place 20 years after a flu pandemic wiped out 99% of the population. If you’re still anxious about Covid-19, this may not be the series for you.
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 7.6/10
Available on Prime Video (via Universal+)
The Leftovers
Let us remain in the sudden and brutal disappearance of a large part of the population with the cult The Leftovers. No disease or nuclear disaster this time, but 2% of human beings disappear without explanation, leaving the remaining 98% to mourn. A series that grips the guts.

Snowpiercer
Series Snowpiercer (not to be confused with the eponymous film) will have had a complicated production. While waiting to know if its fourth and final season will find a new broadcaster now that TNT no longer wants it, the three available seasons are unequal, but could satisfy fans of post-apo, social subjects and extreme cold.
⭐ Its IMdB rating: 6.9/10
Available on Netflix
The Last of Us
Let’s end with the obvious: The Last of Us. As fallout, it is an adaptation of a video game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world rich in mutations and poor for the future of humanity. It’s difficult to do anything more similar and you’ll just have to be patient for season 2 on HBO.
