Who are the most played and highest winrate heroes in Overwatch 2?

Launched just before the opening of the Overwatch 2 PvP beta which has now ended, the new hero Sojourn did not convince the players if we stick to the graphics revealed by Blizzard. Tested by the community at the launch of the beta, his popularity rating dropped to the top 5 and ended up in the top 3 most played character, behind Ana and others including Orisa, another character reworked for the occasion. Ana, meanwhile, was the most popular throughout the period, far from Sombra or Strongholdtwo other characters reworked but played less than 20% of the time.

The developers also didt the point on the winrate of the heroes, which could give a clue on the next improvements and the necessary balancing to make the meta more coherent. The balancing patch released on May 5 has also done its job, since we can see on the graph a drop in Lucio’s winrate and a drastic increase in that of Zenyatta. Baptiste’s buff also allowed him to move up to average, although he was still well below the fray. As already explained by Blizzard, the support role has been targeted to make its characters more interesting to play in 5v5.
