Alongside Philippe Etchebest, Mac Lesggy, Marie Portolano, Cristina Cordula and Eric Antoine, who was also at the animation. But now the singer has been the target of violent comments on social networks. Indeed, some viewers attacked his physical appearance, accusing him of having had cosmetic surgery. Faced with such comments, Hélène Ségara could not keep calm.

In effect, the 51-year-old artist took to its social networks to respond to its detractors. “Obviously, and as I expected, the comments about me on social networks are gratuitous and mean. It’s true a year of heavy treatment has changed me and given me a lot of complexes. I can’t help it alas. Apart from fighting to keep smiling… Thank you to all those who know and come to defend me”, she wrote, aware that her fans did not hesitate to defend her.

Hélène Ségara: a life turned upside down by illness

Suffering from an autoimmune disease, Hélène Ségara saw her life turned upside down. “When, at 40, I learned that I had health problems, I focused on my recovery”, she explained to Galain September 2020. On Instagram too, she had mentioned her health problems: “My new treatment being long and tiring, it would unfortunately be unreasonable and exhausting for me to chain too many concerts in the same week. You cannot imagine how difficult it is for me to accept this… C It is for this reason that I have decided to do everything to maintain several concerts in order to find you a little before getting better, or to postpone others”.
