The exact background to the killing of the Swiss Aristo D. * († 59) in Brazil two weeks ago is still unclear. The Swiss man was kidnapped and fatally injured with three bullets while attempting to escape. According to local media, a suspicious man was arrested because police officers overheard the gunshots. The man confessed and stated that he was hired. He was supposed to collect owed money.
It is unclear whether the debt was actually the equivalent of 1970 francs. As several people close to Aristo D. indicated to Blick, the Swiss had no debts, apart from legal debts that had accumulated through a custody dispute over his young son. The car is said to have been owned by Aristo D. for years and paid for in full.
In desperation, he had turned to Blick
The victim was involved in a custody dispute with his mother-in-law after the death of his Brazilian wife almost a year ago. Aristo’s son Ramon * (2) lived with her temporarily against the will of the Swiss. Because Aristo D. wanted to get his son to Switzerland as soon as possible, he turned to Blick in despair. He stayed in touch with Blick until shortly before his death.
Based on the reports from Blick, the police in Brazil are continuing to investigate the background to the killing of the Swiss. “We have caught the alleged perpetrator and he is being held in custody. As a result of the new findings with the custody dispute, we have launched a new investigation to see whether the accused’s story is true and whether other people were behind the murder, ”says Ana Carolina Pedrotti, the policewoman responsible for Goianésia.
New information from cell phone evaluation?
“The Blick reports have shown that Aristo D.’s case is also about custody. That is why we have expanded our investigations », says Pedrotti.
Who gave the alleged assignment to the arrested Rai R.? Important conclusions and connections could be found on Aristo D.’s cell phone. This is now to be examined.
Blick was also able to find a woman who supported Aristo D. in the custody dispute and took in the desperate Swiss. Sara S. * was present when the murderer showed up at her house and lured Aristo D. away under a pretext.
Son was with grandmother at the time of the crime
Since the beginning of September Aristo D. had his son back in his care. The Brazilian authorities had ruled that his child had been illegally abducted by his mother-in-law. However, the mother-in-law still had the right to visit.
At the time of the killing, the child was not with the father, but visiting the mother-in-law. Sara S .: «Ramon was brought to the grandmother. Shortly afterwards the murderer came to our house. ” Sara S. therefore suspects Aristo D.’s mother-in-law. This should possibly have had a finger in the game.
“Anyone who has custody is entitled to a possible pension”
Aristo D. is said to have had life insurance. His late wife owned a house. The beneficiary in the death of Aristo D. and his wife is son Ramon. He now lives with his grandmother again. Carlos Eduardo da S. Costa supported Aristo D. in the custody dispute. “Those who have custody also have the right to a possible pension or goods that are left over,” says the lawyer.
Costa says about the background: “I was not aware of any debts from Aristo D.” Whether little Ramon will ever find out why his father was killed is now in the hands of the Brazilian investigative authorities.
