A new member appears on the jury for season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars”! Find out who Mel Charlot is, an international star.

Mel Charlot: from Beyonce to “Dancing with the Stars”
Born in Montreal, Canada, Mel Charlot is of Haitian origin. She has always been immersed in the world of dance: folk dance with her mother, break dancing with her brother. It was while watching the American show So You Think You Can Dance that she understands that she can turn her passion and means of expression into a profession. After studying psychology, she left university to learn dance in the United States in 2010 and specializes in hip-hop. She worked with Serena Williams on Lip Sync Battletake part in So You Think You Can Dance Or I Can See Your Voice and even Mask Singer. She plays in the musical comedy Lion Kingand collaborates with Disney but also with great artists like Lizzo, Faith Evans, Mariah Carey, P. Diddy, Pharell Williams… And Beyonce! Last year, she was a juror alongside Jean-Marc Généreux for the dance competition Revolution in Canada.
On her Instagram account, she shares her TV shows as much as her dance classes or her family life. Mother of a three-year-old boy, she has been in a relationship with an athletic performance coach for 20 years.
