Have you dreamed of being able to enjoy a more productivity-oriented experience with your Galaxy Z Fold? Well, know that Samsung might have the solution for you.

A few days after being informed that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 would benefit from the stable version of One UI 5, we learned that Samsung would like to integrate styluses into its future folding smartphones. But beware, not just any.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold: soon a location for styluses?

Since its arrival in this sector, Samsung has firmly believed in the potential of folding phones. Convinced of the effectiveness of the concept and its adaptability, the Korean company estimates that this market could see an increase of 80% within the next three years. It should also be remembered that between 2020 and 2022, sales of folding smartphones at Samsung have experienced an overall increase of 300%.

Although folding devices are enjoying growing success, they currently represent “only” 1% of the smartphone market. That’s why, in the hope of popularizing these phones more, the Korean is willing to put in a lot of effort. According to information reported by the site WCCFTechthe brand would like to reduce the size and weight of its future Galaxy Z Fold (the models that open from right to left), equip them with high-end photo sensors as well as a slot for the S Pen stylus.

Highly praised for their great flexibility (in every sense of the word), the Galaxy Z Folds are amazingly efficient devices when it comes to productivity. This is why Samsung would like to integrate support for the stylus on its future folding smartphones of the Fold series only. Something to delight users who have been requesting it for many months now.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

  • Image quality of screens
  • OneUI 4.1.1 and its software suite
  • Very good overall performance

Little by little, Samsung is improving its folding smartphone intended for professional use. We appreciate the quality of the screens, the computing power available and the possibility of using an optional stylus. Other points of satisfaction: IPX8 compliance, improved shock resistance and autonomy that we consider very correct, if not excellent.

The main camera delivers very beautiful fixed or animated images. And if the foldable display’s front camera isn’t as good as hoped, it has the upside of becoming invisible when not in use.

So would the Z Fold 4 achieve perfection? Not yet. The crease of the screen is still noticeable under the finger and visible in certain situations. Let’s bet that technological progress will be able to correct this.
