Apple has confirmed that iOS 17.2 should fix most of the WiFi-related bugs users have encountered since the operating system rolled out a few days ago. The update is currently still in beta, and the manufacturer has not specified a launch date. Other features should also come to the fore.
Since the launch of iOS 17 in September, many users have complained about problems with their WiFi connection. For many, especially those who fell for the iPhone 15 when it was released, the network is in fact particularly slow, even though the connection is usually of good quality. The phenomenon has become so widespread that it was thought that Apple would correct the problem with iOS 17.1. Unfortunately, this did not happen, which only increased the discontent among the users concerned.
So much so that the media iClarified decided to approach Apple to clarify this matter. The manufacturer has finally confirmed that a solution is about to be deployed on iPhones. The first beta of iOS 17.2 indeed includes several fixes for bugs impacting WiFi quality, Apple assures. iClarified indicates that indeed, after downloading said beta, several improvements in this area could be observed.
A little patience, WiFi problems on iOS 17 will be resolved soon
iClarified notes, among the bugs reported, web pages that take too long to load, or even never finish, as well as frequent connection cuts. We can therefore expect that all these annoyances will be patched when iOS 17.2 is released, especially if the first beta already improves performance. Apple, for its part, assures that the bugs will be “permanently corrected”.

If the manufacturer has not yet officially provided a date for the deployment of iOS 17.2, we can hope that the update does not take too long to arrive on our iPhones. As a reminder, iOS 17.1 was released about a month after the launch of iOS 17. Hopefully, only a few days will be enough to close the beta.
