In his past, Will Smith wanted a harem with 20 women – including Halle Berry.
In his search for himself, Will Smith (53, “Independence Day”) has sometimes resorted to unusual aids in recent years. As he now reported to a “GQ” reporter, he tried, for example, loneliness, traveling, more than a dozen ayahuasca rituals and years of work with intimate coach Michaela Boehm. He revealed a special fantasy to her: Smith confessed to wanting to have his own harem.
“I don’t know where I saw this as a teenager (…) but the idea of traveling with 20 women I love and care for and all that seemed like a really great idea”, said Smith. When asked by the intimate trainer, Smith had to name the people he would like to have in his harem. Ballet dancer Misty Copeland (39) and Halle Berry (55) quickly occurred to him. Smith and Boehm then researched other women who could round off the group. The plan was to actually contact the women.
Mind play cleared his mind
But it didn’t get that far. “After we played it through a bit, I thought, ‘That would be terrible. That would be terrible,'” said Smith, explaining his change of mind. Even so, the exercise had a big effect on Smith’s self-perception: “What she.” [Boehm, Anm. d. Red.] was essentially clearing my mind, letting it know that it was okay to be me and be who I was. It was okay to think Halle was pretty. It doesn’t make me a bad person that I’m married and think Halle is beautiful. “
For Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, marriage “cannot be a prison”
In the interview, Smith also spoke about a phase during his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith (50) in which the two did not live monogamous. “We have given each other trust and freedom, convinced that everyone must find their own way. And marriage cannot be a prison for us.” He wouldn’t recommend this trail to every couple, says Smith. “But the experiences, the freedoms we have given each other, and the unconditional support are the highest definition of love for me.”
Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have been married since 1997 and have children Jaden, 23 and Willow, 20.
