Google Cloud has opened a hosting service for running a blockchain node. The company gave that in one press release known. This should make it easier for Web3 companies to set up a node. Ethereum is the starting point.
It is said that developers want to provide a “fully managed Ethereum node” with secure blockchain access. Whether staking is also possible via Google is not clear from the message.
However, it would be conceivable. Staking pools like Lido are hugely popular in the community and seeing a lot of activity. It is quite possible that Google would like to compete here. In general, the group is busy in the crypto space. Google Cloud wants to accept crypto payments for its services from 2023.
