One of the phenomena of the arcade game is about to receive a new opus, more than 20 years after its release. Windjammers 2 will finally land in our living rooms within two short weeks, and in order to celebrate this event, the teams of Dotemu who work on the game have released a documentary, which tells us a bit more about the behind-the-scenes development.
Behind the scenes of a legendary suite
French studio obliges, we are entitled to a documentary with a few Frenchies on the screen, and don’t panic if a little English comes to the program, French subtitles are also present.
Dotemu then returns to his relationship with the license holders, to the choice of Windjammers to produce a new game, on the challenges that arose in this sequel… In short, a very interesting half hour which allows us to take a look behind the scenes to better see and understand the work of the artists.
Windjammers 2 will be available on January 20 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia. It will also integrate the Game Pass from the day of its launch.
