At the Milan Furniture Fair, Haier unveiled two new large-capacity wine cabinets: the Wine Bank 60 Series 5 and Series 7. Connected, they can be adjusted remotely and also offer inventory management in partnership with Vivino.
Storing wine while preserving its quality can be a real challenge. To help amateur or seasoned consumers in this mission, Haier is offering two new wine cabinets: the Wine Bank 60. These large-capacity models are those in the Chinese manufacturer’s catalog that can accommodate the largest collections. The Wine Bank 60 Series 5, with a capacity of 450 l, can hold up to 247 bottles, while the Wine Bank 60 Series 7, with a capacity of 440 l, offers space for 236. In both models, the grape varieties are spread over five beech wood shelves and the lighting is provided by LEDs positioned on the top and on the side of the doors.
To preserve the different bottles as well as possible, the Wine Bank 60 are equipped with an anti-UV glass door, the sun being one of the enemies of wine. Door that can also be positioned on the left or right depending on the layout of the room. In addition, the very low sound level of the two cellars, 37 dB according to Haier, allows them to be placed in a living room without disturbing the tranquility of the place.
Temperature is obviously the central point for storing wine in the best conditions. The Wine Bank 60 offer a range from 5 to 20°C, knowing that 12°C is the ideal aging temperature, whatever the type of bottle (red, white, rosé or even champagne). Hygrometry, that is to say the humidity level, is also essential to preserve the aromas. Both Haier devices regulate it automatically, keeping it between 50% and 70%, thanks to the Natural Air Flow System technology.
However, the two references stand out on one point: the Serie 5 is a single-zone wine cellar that allows only one temperature variation. The Series 7, it offers two temperature levels: preferably, the reds will then take place in height, while the whites and the sparkling will settle on the lower shelves for more freshness.

Haier’s new watchword is connectivity, and the Wine Bank 60 wine cabinets are no exception. The hOn application allows the consumer to be alerted by a notification in the event of an unexpected change in temperature within his cellar. As in any connected device, various settings are available via the app and can be changed remotely.
But above all, it is possible to keep an eye on your stock at all times: number of bottles, type of wine remaining, etc. To go further in this approach, Haier has developed a partnership with the Vivino application, a wine community that offers a whole range of services to the user. In particular, he can obtain tasting advice by scanning the bottle label. Wine-related information is also made available to consumers, as is the possibility of replenishing their stock.
The Wine Bank 60 Series 5 is already available at Darty from €1,699, while you will still have to wait to find the Series 7 in stores, offered at €1,999.
