Christmas is just around the corner and, as always, you can't start thinking about the right gifts early enough. And: What do I actually wish for myself for Christmas? One or two of our editors at least already know what should be on their personal wish lists this year. Each week one of them will show you their list. Let yourself be inspired by these wish and gift ideas.
Christmas somehow always comes as a complete surprise. And so I, editor Rachel, am not only overwhelmed when I suddenly have to organize gifts for my loved ones in mid-December, I also get skidded when asked for my own wish list. In the meantime I've gotten into the habit of collecting possible Christmas wishes and gift ideas on a mobile phone list all year round. Lo and behold: This year we actually got a little something useful. And it looks like this:
It's going to be cozy
It's wet and cold outside and for a few days now I've just wanted to pull the covers over my head. Why not a really nice one? I got myself into the great colors of the Ethnic wool blankets made of alpaca, which are quite expensive. On my wish list is a cheaper, but equally beautiful version made of cotton. It has to be!
Loll around really
And where better to cuddle up than on one XXL beanbag? I tried this on one of my last vacations and found it super cozy. And since I really like broad cord, the beanbag on my wish list must of course be made of this material.
Love of books
Now all that's missing is the right book. Anyone who knows me knows that I am an absolute thriller fan. Sebastian Fitzek has never disappointed me. Recently he came up with one Short Thriller Collection (various well-known authors) for the quarantine around the corner. What a great idea and just the thing for me!
It's all a question of the right lighting
For a long time I have wanted new ones for our living room Wall lights. My friend chose the old ones and … well … we have very different tastes in interior design. I hope I can somehow give him the new lights, which he'll definitely find totally cheesy. In any case, they have been on my wish list for a long time.
The next summer is already in preparation
If you look at the cloudy weather, you can't believe that it will ever be warm and colorful again out there. But next summer will definitely come and I like to garden for my life. For the next gardening year, there are a few beautification objects on my wish list. Because if I dream of summer 2021, I would like my garden to look even more enchanted with climbing roses. They should be pretty Climbing aids support that have been on my wish list for a long time. By the way, they look great even in winter with a snow cap!
New phone
And one more modest wish at the end: my old cell phone has had its day after almost five years. If I don't want to let this thing drive me further crazy in 2021, Christmas has to be a new one mobile here. So, please dear Santa Claus, have mercy!
