Alec Baldwin appears to be doing better after hip surgery. When he last complained about “incredible pain”, he was now spotted walking.
At the end of May this year, US actor Alec Baldwin, 65, had to undergo hip surgery. Now the star has been seen in public for the first time since the operation. Pictures, that of the US site “TMZ” present, show Baldwin walking through New York City with a crutch in his left hand.

According to his own statement, the operation involved the use of an artificial hip. Baldwin explained on his Instagram account a few days after the operation that he was dependent on the operation on his right hip. At the time, he still reported suffering from “incredible pain,” but the doctors told him that this should subside quickly. The latest pictures now seem to confirm this. The surgery itself was nothing new for Baldwin, as he also reveals in the clip: “I had my left hip done in 2018, five years ago.”

His wife Hilaria Baldwin, 39, was the first to report the operation: “Alec got a new hip today, it has been necessary for a long time,” she wrote on May 31 for a selfie with her husband, who can still be seen from the hospital bed smiled sullenly at the camera.

“We’ve been through so much together. As your partner and as you heal, I wish so much that you can put this very intense chapter of chronic pain behind you and improve your quality of life,” the 39-year-old continued. She then thanked the doctors and hospital staff who had brought her husband “safely through this situation”. “And you. Thanks to you,” Alec Baldwin commented on the post, also thanking his wife for his support, with whom he has seven children.
